  • Tropical swimming and leisure complex, interior and exterior landscaping (1994/1995).

CHINA

Chengdu

  • Preliminary urban design study and ecological development in park zone (2002).
  • Masterplan City development with 7,000 housing units and a 30 hectare park zone – design and working-out a planting scheme for the park zone (2003). In co-operation with Alfred Wong Partnership Pte. and GKC Planning & Management Corp. (Singapore)

Shanghai

  • Kang Chiaw, masterplan for town extension with 200 houses (2003).

CURAÇAO

Rif St. Marie Willibrordus

  • Nature resort area with beach houses, apartments, hotels and yachting club. Landscape Masterplan, total area 450 hectares (1993/1995).
  • Conceptual design Van de Valk resort.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Municipality of Hranice

  • Conceptual Masterplan for historic city centre (1993).

FRANCE

Sables D’Olonne

  • Environmental structure plan for the development of a bungalow leisure park (160 bungalows) in the Vendée region (1996).

GERMANY

Lemgo, West-Duitsland

  • STAFF Foundation, landscape competition; price and the work has been bought by the client.

Berlijn Selchow

  • Complete design for a business park, living environment and recreational zone.

Medebach

  • Holiday park Gran Dorado, Masterplan landscape development 55 hectares (1993/1994).

Stromberg

  • Design development for surroundings of leisure centre (Phase 1) (1993/1995). Golfhotel and Gran Dorado bungalowpark.

  • Masterplan for the renovation of the Joint Research Centre ISPRA (European Community Research Centre) (1993).

JAPAN

Kawazu

  • Zoning plan for a recreation project of 200 hectares. Preparing studies and location research. (1988).

MALAYSIA

  • Landscaping and management advice for Royal Botanical Gardens & Consulting for 11 palaces in Johor Bahru (1984).
  • Malaysia campus Kedah State Agricultural.

RUSSIA

  • Consultancy botanical garden.

  • Masterplan for development of recreational park with houses (2007 / 2009).

SINGAPORE

Singapore International Garden Festival 1989

  • Masterplan and design coordination of a park and exhibition area of 58 hectares to be developed in cooperation (1986).
  • Advising for interior plantings in the exhibition hall and a temperature-controlled glasshouse in which several temporary and permanent flower and plant presentations will take place (1986).
  • Concept masterplan for the realization of a 6.5 km long monorail (1987). Track on holiday island Sentosa, situated opposite the Singapore coast.
  • Masterplan for the 5TH POLYTECHNIC CAMPUS IN SINGAPORE, in co-operation with Alfred Wong Partnership Pte Ltd (Singapore) and R.M.J.M. Architects (Edinburgh) (2002).

Hope Estate

  • Allotment plan for quarry Hope Estate

SPAIN

Malaga

  • Renovation and adjustment to a 350 year old botanical garden. Extension with Europe’s largest bird park. Also the inclusion of several restaurants with a total seating accommodation of 2500.
  • Private estate in Almeria.

Para-District

  • Masterplan for the development of Eco-tourism in the Para-District (1995).

THAILAND

Phuket

  • Preliminary study for recreational park / resort (2001).
  • Masterplan for recreational park with villas, apartments and restaurant (2003 – 2005).
  • Garden design for gardens Villa Salika (2005)

UNITED KINGDOM

Gateshead

  • Consulting for a 72 hectares green area for national garden festival. Realization 1990.
  • Detailed elaboration of 14 hectares of park area, situated at the river Tyne in the center of Gateshead and Newcastle (1988/ ).
  • Design coordination, total project development.

Glasgow Green

  • Joint venture with Gillespies to masterplan for future developments.

Oxford

  • Masterplan for landscape Benneton Formula I, racing car factory / Alan Smith.

Perth, Scotland

  • Masterplan for feasibility study of a new 50 acres National Garden project.

U.S.A.

Orange City, Ohio

  • Structure and design proposals for green provisions.

Columbus, Ohio

  • Advising in the development of Franklin Park. In this park in 1992, the international exhibition AmeriFlora ’92 has taken place in celebration of the discovery of America by Columbus 500 years ago.
  • Masterplan phase 1, for the re-design and extension of the existing Conservatory (tropical glasshouse) into a botanical garden (1987/1992).
  • Franklin Park Conservatory internal design for hard and soft landscaping / Böhm-NBBJ (1987/1992).

Princeton, Boston, Massachusetts

  • Management and design plans for an estate of 5 hectares (1986).
  • Horticultural centre Elmbank, Boston (1998).
  • Massachusetts Horticultural Society, New Botanical Garden:
  • Design of the floor plan for the annual Boston Flower Show (1996 – 2003).
  • Garden under Glass project, downtown Boston (2001).

  • Turtle Bay Masterplan for ecological and cultural theme park (2005)
  • Turtle Bay, Fitzpatrick Celebration Garden design (2005)

San Luis Obispo, California

  • Analysis and study for redesigning campus area at the San Luis Obispo University (2008 /2009)
